Jacksyn Ivy Jayne’s newest immersive project entitled SPECTROPHOBIA just had its first table reading LA with former collaborators.
The piece, following the story of three young performance artist and their horrifying work to tackle past traumas results in the girls turning into zombified deer.
A Meditation on self-exploitation, re-traumatization for the sake of art and the performance of the female identity, where the audience is put in the girls shoes, or rather hooves and must make them face reality before it’s too late..
The project will be taken to New York this Spring!!
Jacksyn Ivy Jayne has just completed their one-month run in the original off-broadway cast Soulmate which marked their off-broadway debut in the electric role of Chloe!

Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group in NoHo California
Jacksyn Ivy Jayne was featured in multiple productions at Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre Group while also pursuing the world premiere of their show Another Nail in the Coffin as a directorial debut at the theater.
They made their acting debut with the ZJU in The Curse of Bloody Mary and went on to perform in Urban Death at Midsummer Scream at the Long Beach Convention Center. They also joined the cast of writer/director Charlotte Cocker’s highly reviewed Exorcism of Sophia Grace as Ester Grace and Summer Slasher 2 as Casey. They have also contributed to performing in other pieces such as The Paris Morgue and have been brought on as a guest artist in Urban Death’s 20 Anniversary production.
